In which I fix many things | Week 4

Tasks completed (21 hrs): 

  • Weekly discussions (3 hrs)
  • Made hand curl frame-by-frame (2 hrs)
  • Created simple Gantt chart (1 hr)
  • Finished one building for use in-game (2.5 hrs)
  • Edited Lowell’s run, idle, cure, shoot, and death animations (10 hrs)
  • Sprite slicing + animations + coding in Unity (2.5 hrs)

Positives:

  • Some assets now in the game
  • Finished animations look good

Negatives:

  • Spent more time fixing other people’s work than doing my own
  • Did not get nearly as much done as I’d hoped
  • Poor communication and work ethic among team

Upcoming:

  • Make rig for flying monster
  • Complete London buildings
  • Dream attack assets/animations
  • Help with asset integration
  • Start Dream World assets (time permitting)
